Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In

Some of our applications may allow users to authenticate using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.

• We may receive your name, email address, and profile information provided by the authentication provider.
• We do not receive or store your Google or Apple account password.
• Authentication is securely handled through authorized providers and Firebase Authentication services.
• Users may revoke access at any time through their Google or Apple account settings.

Tracing App Usage Data

When using the By Bhavani Tracing App, we may collect limited information necessary to provide tracing-related features and improve user experience.

• Device type and operating system information.
• Application version information.
• Error logs and crash reports.
• Feature usage analytics.
• Authentication and account status information.

Images selected for tracing remain on the user's device unless explicitly uploaded to a service provided by us.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain platform security.

Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account directly through supported mobile applications or by contacting our support team.

• Upon successful deletion, personal account information will be removed from our active systems where reasonably possible.
• Authentication credentials associated with the account may be removed from Firebase Authentication.
• Certain records may be retained when required for legal, taxation, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory compliance purposes.
• Deleted accounts generally cannot be recovered.

Chatbot Conversations

Our website and app include a support chatbot that answers questions about courses, pricing, and services using only our own course catalog and FAQ data.

• We store the messages you send to the chatbot and its replies, so your conversation can continue across visits.
• If you chat with us on the website without signing in, your conversation is linked to an anonymous session identifier stored in your browser, not to your identity.
• If you chat with us while signed in to the app, your conversation is linked to your account.
• The chatbot does not search the internet — it only answers using information we provide it, and does not share your messages with any AI provider beyond what's needed to generate a reply.

Sewing Challenge Leaderboard & Design Submissions

Students may opt in to our Sewing Challenge Leaderboard by submitting photos of their work for review.

• When you submit a design, we collect the process photos you upload (raw material, cutting/drafting, and final output), an optional note, and the category/design you selected.
• If you set up a business profile for the leaderboard, we may also collect your business name, service area, contact number, WhatsApp number, location, and any social media links (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) you choose to add.
• We track points, monthly challenge participation, and activity streaks associated with your account to calculate your leaderboard ranking and badges.
• Your name, profile photo, and ranking may be displayed publicly on the leaderboard and your student profile page. Submitted design photos and your display name may also be featured within the app or on our marketing channels to celebrate student work.
• Submissions are reviewed manually before any points are credited.

Community Posts & Reactions

Our community area lets students view announcements and posts and react to them (like, heart, celebrate, insightful). We store your reactions and, where you post content yourself, the content and any image you attach.

Push Notifications

If you use our mobile app, we may store a device notification token to send you updates about your subscription, courses, payments, or platform announcements. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Certificates

When you complete a course that offers a certificate, we generate a certificate file containing your name and the course title. Certificates are linked to your account and can be viewed or downloaded from your dashboard.

Amazon Shopping (Affiliate Links)

The "Amazon Shopping" section of the student dashboard displays a curated list of products with links to Amazon.in / Amazon.com through our Amazon Associates affiliate account.

• Tapping "Buy on Amazon" takes you to Amazon's website, where any purchase is made directly with Amazon and governed by Amazon's own privacy policy and terms — not ours.
• We do not receive your Amazon order details, payment information, or shipping address; we only earn a referral commission on qualifying purchases made through these links.
